YOGA FLOW

Experience an uplifting yoga flow, with Shropshire-based yoga teacher Sophie [Evolve Coaching]. We will move and breathe through linked postures, allowing time and space to become fully present in the moment, and to get out of the thinking mind, into the body - suitable for all levels.

''Our bodies are made to move. But the pressures of modern day mean that so many of us struggle to make moving our bodies a priority.

I promise you that when you come to my classes, you will be greeted with a warm welcome, a smile and an inviting atmosphere.

I promise that I will support you to make postures and exercises work for your body, in a way that celebrates what your body can do, rather than shaming it for what it can't''

ACTIVATINg breathwork

Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) constitutes a specialised form of Pranayama Breath work that triggers the sympathetic nervous system, commonly associated with the fight-or-flight response. This method facilitates the exploration of tension and emotions stored within the body and nervous system due to past experiences and traumas. Many of our triggers, stressors, and repetitive life patterns often originate from these trapped emotions. The practice is designed to help disengage the analytical and active aspects of the mind, encouraging a shift into bodily awareness. The breath generates energy, allowing buried emotions to surface and be fully experienced and incorporated. The advantages of this approach encompass heightened resilience of the nervous system to potential stressors, the liberation of stored stress, trauma, and tension, as well as fostering a profound connection with oneself, others, and the tranquility inherent in being present.

What to expect

The session begins  with an energizing yoga flow.

We will then move into 30 minute breathwork session and meditation.

We will continue our meditation down by the water where we will have a dip in the beautiful  Alderford lake (we have allowed up to 30 mins for those swimmers and the dippers will  join Sophie for a short yoga flow whilst we wait for the swimmers.
